Registration Open for a Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) Group

Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, together with the Alzrus Foundation, announces enrollment for a Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) group.

If you or your relatives have begun to notice that it takes more time to remember new information, it has become harder to maintain attention in conversation, more difficult to quickly find the right word, or to concentrate on several tasks at once, it is important to support cognitive activity in a timely manner.

CST is an international programme with proven effectiveness aimed at supporting memory, attention, speech, and thinking. The sessions take place in small groups in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The format combines discussions, exercises to develop cognitive functions, elements of physical activity, and creative tasks.

Who the programme is for

Older adults (60+) who wish to maintain activity, independence, and engagement in communication.

The aim of the programme is to improve quality of life through systematic cognitive stimulation and the maintenance of social activity.

The programme is delivered by specialists from Moscow State University of Psychology and Education in partnership with the Alzrus Foundation.

Participation format

  • 5–7 people per group
  • 2 meetings per week
  • duration — 60 minutes
  • morning and afternoon sessions on weekdays

📍 Group location: Alzrus Centre
(20 Yelninskaya St., Bldg. 2, Molodyozhnaya metro station)

📍 Preliminary assessment: Moscow State University of Psychology and Education
(18 Sorge St., Bldg. 2, Zorge MCC station, Oktyabrskoye Pole metro station)

During the sessions, accompanying persons may stay in the Centre’s lounge area.

How to register

To participate, please complete the application form — either for yourself or on behalf of a relative.

Registration is carried out via the Alzrus Foundation form.

You can register for the group until 24 March 2026 (inclusive).
