Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) is a psychological tool for preventing age-related cognitive changes and improving the psychological well-being of older adults. CST is a promising approach to psychological assistance for older adults, used in more than 30 countries. The program's core content includes the methodology and principles of organizing cognitive stimulation therapy, as well as guidelines for conducting thematic sessions (with video examples).
After completing the program, you will become familiar with:
- Modern views on the period of late ontogenesis and methods for correcting cognitive impairments;
- The principles of conducting and the specifics of communication in psychological work with older adults with cognitive decline;
- The specifics and limitations of using the "Cognitive Stimulation Therapy" program with older adults.
